The Quej-Pons Family

Like other couples serving at Casa de Esperanza, Zurisadai and Jose met serving in ministry. The couple moved to Casa de Esperanza in 2020, to serve as parents to children who needed their loving care and support. They parent six heart-adopted and two biological children, and aim to raise their children to know God and be responsible members of society. “We yearn to reach out to make an extended hand for these girls and come to occupy a place in the hearts of each of them by leaving a mark on their lives,” they said. “We have felt good about being part of this ministry and we hope to be a support for the children. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve those in need as our Lord exhorts us to remember the orphans.” Outside of their roles as parents, Zurisadai loves to sing and travel, and Jose enjoys working in telecommunications. They decided together to follow the call to ministry and get involved with Horizon out of a desire to serve and support orphaned and vulnerable children. And they have done just that!
