When Josephat was only a year old, he lost his mother and later, his father. His eighth-grade sister was forced to drop out of school to get married and could not support him. The house that Josephat lived in collapsed, leaving him with nothing. Nevertheless, the Maono Light Micro Community at Horizon was quick to welcome the smiling boy into their care. He now looks to the future with a hopeful heart, eager to become a pilot.
